Postcode districts are ranked by their median price per square metre, the middle value of sold price divided by EPC floor area across every matched sale in the 12 months to July 2026. Every district shown had at least 100 matched sales in that window, so a rank is never built on a handful of transactions.

Either it had fewer than 100 matched sales in the 12 months to July 2026 (too thin a sample to rank honestly), or it sits outside England & Wales. The table shows the top 50 of 22 districts that qualified.

How current are these figures?

The whole dataset is rebuilt monthly from the current HM Land Registry release; this table covers sales in the 12 months to July 2026. Registrations lag sales by 2–8 weeks. The newest sales appear a month or two after completion.
